Yesterday we were at the grocery store when my daughter noticed something in the bakery. They have boxes of fresh heart-shaped cookies for sale there. They have frosting and sprinkles, and you'd expect most any 2 year old to ask to have them. Not mine, she looked in awe for a minute, then matter-of-factly said, "Mommy cookies better." Moments like that are the best!
She calls any cookies I make "Mommy cookies." Recently it's been spritz cookies. And she even chooses them over "chocolate chip cookie bears" (Teddy Grahams). It always makes me smile.

That is so cute! She sounds like an angel! (Probably not sometimes though, lol).
