Our New House

Well, we're all move in to our new house. Not quite everything is unpacked or organized yet of course, but things are moving along. A lot has been going on with the house though.... the day we were getting our keys there was a water leak. With no one living here, it wasn't discovered right away. It was caused by one of the bolts that holds the water tank to the toilet stool, breaking. It flooded the master bathroom, master closet, master bedroom, 90% of the hall, Adam's bedroom, and about 1/4 of the dining room. As a result we lost all of that flooring, all of the attached flooring, all of the baseboards, the master bathroom vanity, and possibly some drywall. It's been quite a challenge living in a house without flooring in most of the house... nothing seems to ever be clean! There was enough salvageable carpet out of one of the rooms, for us to have it moved into Adam's room . So as of today he at least has flooring! Thankfully Reagan's room was fine, and she's had a nice clean room, and soft place to play since we moved in. :-) We ordered new flooring for our bathroom, and a new vanity last week, so it should arrive in 1-3 weeks. It's going to be a long time without a full working master bath... but at least we got the toilet fixed, and the shower works fine! We're still working on the flooring for the rest of the space. We were planning to do hardwood through those areas, and still are... but are having some setbacks as far as that is concerned. Hopefully we can get it figured out soon, and get some flooring in here though!
